Affiliates of Massachusetts based Advocare Medical Claim Advocates, LLC have been in the healthcare industry for more than 25 years. We began as providers of healthcare and as such, realized that follow through on unpaid medical claims can save thousands of dollars for providers of medical care, individual consumers or self-insured business owners. Because of our background, appeals are written from a medical perspective vs. a billing and coding perspective. Meticulous follow-through on unpaid medical claims is the way to improve financial health for everyone. We take an entrepreneurial approach to and address the core issues surrounding each situation.
Principal and Owner, Sandra Klapprodt graduated magna cum laude from Northeastern University in 1986 with a degrees in Physical Therapy and Respiratory Therapy. She has held various managerial and director level positions. Her compassion and attention to detail have been key metrics to her success.
Prior to establishing Advocare Medical Claim Advocates, it was our success working as medical providers that led us in this direction. Key experience data include: running and managing successful rehabilitation clinics, business operations including budget development, monitoring and analysis for clinics exceeding $1M plus per year, system implementation with monitoring and ongoing modification for maximum efficiency, product line development, consultant for managed care/Medicare compliance, JCAHO/DPH survey preparation for standards review and clinic preparedness, medical office efficiency, benchmark tracking systems, new clinic implementations as well as competency and compliance updates. With this background, Advocare has developed expertise in proper claim management and appeals at all levels, healthcare office efficiency, compliance issues and effective office management strategies.
